My chocolate hazelnut torte comprises layers of hazelnut meringue, sandwiched with chocolate ganache and hazelnut French buttercream. It is inspired by a vintage recipe from the Australian Women's Weekly '100 Favourite CAKES' cookbook published in 1972.
